In the ZSGO Demo, you and your fellow survivors wield the ingenuity, firepower, and courage to navigate a post-apocalyptic world crawling with the living dead.

Treacherous landscapes, hidden resources, and untold stories are waiting to be discovered! But remember, you are never safe – stay vigilant and keep your guard up, or risk being consumed by the horrors of the ZSGO Demo…

Core Game Mechanics

Hone your survival skills in ZSGO by scavenging for resources, building fortified bases, and crafting various items.

Vehicles

The ZSGO Demo does grant access to 1 of the lower-tiered vehicles. Be sure to talk to the vehicle trader, Riley, to see what she has to offer!

Base Building

Against the harsh weather and various threats, which we'll get more into below, a strong base is essential. In the ZSGO Demo, you can build up, upgrade, and even tare down a custom modular base to your liking. If you're on a public server, be sure to use an ownership box to lock down your area!

Variety of Weapons

There are many military weapons hidden throughout the wasteland, some traders even offer up a great bargain! Be careful though, these weapons are usually found in dangerous territory.

The civilian handmade weapons would probably be a safer bet if you're just starting out. These weapons are far more common along the coastal areas.

There are more than just guns, however, craft or find useful melees to help defend against the undead.

Gunplay Mechanics

We feel that our gunplay and first-person shooting experience will stand out when jumping into the demo world of ZSGO. Whether you are engaging a horde of zombies, watching over an empty field, or camping on a metropolitan rooftop, there is a weapon choice and gameplay style for you. We have crisp animations that are realistic with an element of fiction but don’t get distracted by the quirks in the middle of a zombie apocalypse...

In-Game Traders and Lore

The ZSGO Demo has many helpful traders around the wasteland. These traders can help get you the items you need to take your survival to the next level. Although there aren't nearly the same amount of quests as the full game, some traders should be able to keep you busy!

Day or night, you may be challenged by dangerous weather, deadly creatures, and poisonous radiation. Be prepared, or you could lose everything.

Unique AI and Zombie Behavior

Perfecting zombie behavior is quite the challenge, however, they have come a long way from just standing still and screaming at the sky! Around the wasteland, you will run into a variety of threats ready to take you down. It also seems as though the radiation may be messing with the DNA of some, so be extra careful around those.

Scavs and Bandits

Beyond zombies and animals, there are other humans looking to take what's yours. Be sure to come heavily equipped for this battle or it may be your last!

Our development approach is driven by community input to improve existing content, add new features, and foster healthy gameplay. With players’ guidance, we hope to serve the best gameplay features that make the experience enjoyable and immersive while changing and removing features that counter ZSGO’s vision.

Gameplay Styles

There are plenty of different paths to experience ZSGO. You could play solo offline to see how much your friends are holding you back, or team up with them in co-op to show them how much they need you to survive the zombie-infested lands. Another option is to join others in multiplayer to either help others or take what’s theirs. The decision is yours.

Custom Demo Map

Our team is excited to have our community traverse the landscape of our customized demo map.

Although it is far less area than the full game, we built up many unique locations that will both challenge and reward the player in different ways. Parkour areas, overrun towns, and military bases can be explored. If it looks important, it's probably dangerous, so explore with caution survivor!

Customizable World Settings

Before starting your journey, be sure to check out the adjustable World Settings! Change player, raid, loot, and weather settings so that your experience is just how you like it.
