“I'm releasing into early access so I can focus on building tools and mechanics that fit the stories you want to tell.

This game is eventually meant to be a "forever game" or a "tool" that doesn't just tell the story I want to tell, but the stories of everyone who plays it, collaboratively. Letting you get involved in that process as early as possible will let me make something that fits your needs better.”

“another 2 years - you can expect something akin to an unpolished but fully featured release by Q3 2026 - but this is subject to change depending on feedback. ”

“Significant improvements to the base art style, lots of home-grown assets, a full soundtrack, characters along with a fleshed out player character with their own ingame storylines, and a more fleshed out ingame setting (based on the existing lore).

Significant improvements to Quality-of-Life, in addition to streamlining out whatever the community deems unneccesary or frustrating.

The core "Guild Master" game mode, which will supercede the solo gameplay available now, as the primary intended experience of the game. This will include tools to customize and modify your game world in addition to just the characters within it. (Don't worry if you enjoy the single player experience we currently have, it will be in no way diminished, and your Guild Master game mode will share the same world and setting as your solo adventures).

Social features, and modding support, centered around exploring each other's unique worlds and the stories that you've placed in them.”

“Currently, we have a single-player-only solo experience with no real ingame tools to create or share your own characters and stories - it is actually possible to do so at present, but not in the polished (and safe) way I intend.

There's one incomplete (non-didactic) story within one static world - which will update and near completion over the course of early access. ”

“Early access will be heavily discounted from the launch price. ”

“So far, this game has largely been built in isolation, but I intend to directly involve the community in every step towards full release. I am available directly in the game's discord server and intend to focus development on what players request - as far as it is realistic and fits the overall goals of the game. There is a story I want to tell, after all.

I'm also looking to not work on this solo, if possible, and I only intend to look for people to work with on this project from within the community it creates!”
