Amsterdam International Airport, or Schiphol Airport as it is commonly known, is the main airport in Amsterdam and the busiest aviation hub in the Netherlands, now developed for Tower! Simulator 3 as an add-on you can challenge yourself.

As one of the world’s most occupied airports in terms of international passenger traffic, with almost 72 million passengers in 2019, it is the third-busiest airport in Europe in terms of passenger volume and the busiest in Europe in terms of aircraft movements.

Interesting Fact: Amsterdam International Airport actually lies three meters below the sea!

The airport is built on the single-terminal concept: one large terminal split into three departure halls and has approximately 223 boarding gates including eighteen double jetway gates used for widebody aircraft.

Schiphol has six runways, one of which is used mainly by general aviation.

Interesting Fact: The AMS air traffic control tower was built in 1991. Back then, it was the tallest in the world.
