Shrooms Tower Defence is a fungally fresh take on tower defence, with procedurally generated maps and free-roam paths for the greedy lumberjacks to take to harvest your trees! Make careful use of your ten special Shrooms with various attack-patterns and abilities to protect your island!

FEATURES

• Procedurally generated island maps mean you will never face the same challenge twice! Forests, rivers and other features create endless new experiences. 

• Say goodbye to grids and lanes! Lumberjacks follow free-roam paths to harvest your trees, laying down infrastructure such as bridges and roads as they go to allow future enemies easier access. Protect your forest from every angle and strategy with careful placement and reaction!

• Different types of lumberjacks present unique threats. Some are fast and weak, others are bulky and slow. Some have special abilities, like flight or devastating flamethrowers– and the powerful boss-lumberjacks are the most dangerous of all!

• A variety of different Shroom-types with different elemental powers and special abilities that are strong or weak against different enemy-types. Will you use fire? Poison? Explosions? Ink to slow your enemies down? Knowledge is everything!

• Each Shroom has its own system of upgrades–multiple tiers and options to choose from. Increase a Shroom’s attack power or unlock new abilities to add to its arsenal. Will you distribute your upgrade-points evenly across your army? Or will you pour all your efforts into a few unstoppable fungi?

NEAR-INFINITE REPLAYABILITY

Procedural generation means that every island is unique – and presents unique challenges! Where will the rivers be this time around, and how will they slow down the lumberjacks? Where will the trees be most heavily concentrated? Which areas of the island will you sacrifice as you build up your resources for defence? Where will be the best place to make your final stand?

Ten different mushroom types, with six different upgrade options for each mushroom means that there are always new ways to play! Does it make more sense to focus on as many of the cheapest Shrooms as possible, in as many places as you can put them? Or is it better to have a few more powerful mushrooms in critical locations? Experiment and discover!

Those gosh-darned lumberjacks are relentless– they won’t quit until they’ve harvested each and every last tree on your poor little island. They will come alone and in groups. They will come as quick-moving, frail units, and as slow, powerful behemoths. They will come with fire and machines. They will build roads and bridges – and they will send powerful bosses to test the limits of your abilities! You won’t be able to save every single tree, but you can make the lumberjacks pay for every inch they take!
