Touchdown Poker is a unique blend of American Football and Heads-Up Texas Hold ‘Em Poker where instead of betting chips, players compete in Poker hands to win yards on the football field. The premise is simple – Win Hands, Gain Yards, Score Touchdowns.

Games can be won with traditional Poker hands or those modified with a wide variety of 'Special Chips' which give players the ability to affect the outcome of games in numerous different ways, for example:

'Offense' specials

• Side-Step - re-deal your lowest hole card

• Short Flush - allow four card flushes

• Blurred Vision Black - merge clubs and spades

'Defense' specials

• Even Cards Out - remove all even cards before a game conclusion

• Force Fumble - force the Offense to fumble if they fold

• Reverse Play - lowest hand wins when a game is concluded

As well as Touchdown Poker being based on one the world's most popular card games, it merges with all of the familiar facets of American Football - from Offense to Defense, Receiving Runs, Downs and Punts to Fumbles, Touchdowns and Field Goals - and faithfully re-creates the 'big game' atmosphere and air of excitement that the sport always delivers.

The aim of the game is to face and defeat all challengers, become the most formidable player and build the most capable team, within the competitive arena of Touchdown Poker.

The game offers single player mode where you play games against AI opponents, and two player mode where you connect with and play against other remote human opponents.
