为何要采用抢先体验这种模式？

“This game is incomplete, but has become the sorta dream western game. What started as a simple 2D runner with an old west style is gradually becoming the ultimate old west sandbox platformer. What you currently see on the surface is a retro style side scroller, but the highly moddable game beneath is capable of near infinite possibilities including a realistic thirdperson action adventure game set in a biome-based shapable continent known as American frontier. The game will include both the original retro style with its gameplay as well as a realistic style amongst others based on the singleplayer story and multiplayer/mod requirements. Not all of the systems are complete or ready for public use, but gradually more and more features will be trickled out, starting with the level editor as well as both local and online multiplayer. The singleplayer is currently episodic in that we only made 2 chapters initially with a third mostly ready but in the works, so the plan is to regularly release new chapters, modes, and other content as it becomes ready. There will also be various beta branches available to try upcoming changes.”

“By the time Early Access is complete, the game will have a complete singleplayer experience, scalable multiplayer from couch gaming to massively online, modding capabilities including a level editor and extensive use of Workshop, and playable across as many platforms as possible.”

“It is about equal to a demo of the first two chapters, growing with new content over time. Chapter 3 and the prologue are in the game, but not activated, same with the level editor and a few other modes. These will be the first updates, quickly expanding the game beyond the two chapter demo.”

在抢先体验期间和结束之后，游戏价格会有所不同吗？

“As the game becomes more complete, the price will rise a bit where its worth feels comfortably valued.”

在开发过程中，你们是如何计划让玩家社区参与进来的？

“Content creation will be great, and as multiplayer is added things will get pretty wild, especially with custom levels and modifications to the base games.”
