The 3DMark API Overhead feature test was released in 2015 to coincide with the launch of Windows 10 and DirectX 12. The test compares the draw call performance of graphics APIs. At launch, this was the most significant difference between older APIs and new, low-level APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulkan. Today, developers are more likely to choose a graphics API based on feature support and compatibility. Draw call performance is no longer the deciding factor.

  • Compare API performance on your PC
  • Test Vulkan, DirectX 12 and DirectX 11

Systeemeisen

    Minimum:
    • OS *:Windows Vista 64-bit*
    • Processor:1.8 GHz dual-core
    • Memory:4 GB RAM
    • Video card memory:1 GB
    • Graphics:DirectX 11, DirectX 12 or Mantle**
    • Storage:6 GB free space

    * The API Overhead feature test requires a 64-bit version of Windows. Windows 7 users must install Service Pack 1. Windows Vista users must install Service Pack 2 and the DirectX 11 platform update.

    **The API Overhead feature test does not support multi-GPU systems. You may need to disable Crossfire/SLI.
* Vanaf 1 januari 2024 ondersteunt de Steam-client alleen Windows 10 en latere versies.
