“I want to try Early Access so that player feedback can meaningfully impact the game, and see their feedback being put into practice in real time.

This game has been built on light years worth of feedback and player input, and I would like to continue this practice to make the game as good as possible, which not only involves listening to the community, but also giving them a more universal platform to voice their thoughts.”

这款游戏的抢先体验状态大约持续多久？

“I plan on being in Early Access for around 2-3 months. The game's first draft is almost done, but I'm expecting revisions being made to both major and minor systems based on player feedback to make the game more fun and accessible.”

计划中的完整版本和抢先体验版本到底有多少不同？

“I plan on implementing the final boss and his respective level, alongside a Boss Arena mode and NPCs that gradually fill up the hub world by completing each stage. ”

抢先体验版本的现状如何？

“Currently, there is a hub world with 7 stages, each with their own boss fights (basically every stage minus the final boss stage). Color mochi and badges have been implemented in game as collectables, and the randomizer mode will be unlocked when all the current stages have been completed.”

“Price will increase to the 10-15 dollar price range, but I haven't decided the final number yet. This will be announced as soon as possible!”

“Our Discord server (link on this page) would be the best way for your voice to be heard! If you have feedback, concerns, etc, please send them to our Discord server. If you upload your opinions elsewhere, I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to see it! Steam Community is fine too if you don't feel like joining the server, which is perfectly understandable.

I will take all the data to revise the game, all to make this game even better! I won't be able to implement everything that gets brought up (mostly if it betrays the vision), but I will always consider each new change with them in mind!”

Astropods: Starside Glaze is a 2D Fighting Platformer with endless mobility and combat potential! Starring as Hemi (pink) and Acro (blue), swap between them at any time to utilize their unique attacks and physics within various environments.

Astropods combines platform fighter combat with platformer styled levels, alongside nonlinear progression and perk customization, to create a dynamic combat-platforming experience unlike anything else! Mold your limitless potential to bring back the stolen Waterfall of Dreams!

GAMEPLAY

Experience dynamic platform fighter gameplay within this nonlinear singleplayer adventure!

Utilize knockback alongside high mobility to maintain combos and maximize damage!

Swap between Hemi and Acro with the press of a button, each with their own unique physics and attacks.
Discover and equip unique badges to further specialize your playstyle!

STORY

An excerpt from our lovely(?) Zooka.

"Hi lovelies, Zooka here!

Our planet is suffering right now! Our source of aura and dreams, the Waterfall of Dreams, has gone missing! How is that even possible?! Well, we must investigate because I am obviously a great and caring person!

Unfortunately, I can't do it myself. My specialty is intelligence, so I'm not fit for field combat. Can't use my big brain to knock these guys out, after all. However, I offer personal life advice, and special facilities that help improve oneself and their skills! Aren't I so great?? Now go stop these menaces to society, while I hide...I mean, assist from the backlines!

...don't look at me like that! I'm helping tons with things like onboarding and education..."
